Nalbari: Assam Forest Minister and BJP leader Jayanta Malla Baruah on Friday participated in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026, a cadre training programme organised by the BJP’s Ghograpar Mandal at PM SHRI Ghograpar Higher Secondary School in Nalbari district.
During the programme, Baruah delivered a lecture on “Bharatiya Janata Partyr Itihas aru Bikash” (History and Development of the Bharatiya Janata Party), highlighting the party’s organisational journey, ideological foundations and growth over the years. The training programme is part of the BJP’s statewide campaign to strengthen organisational skills and ideological awareness among its grassroots workers.
The event was attended by Ghograpar Mandal President Manoj Deka, Coordinator Hareshwar Das, along with other office-bearers and party karyakartas of the mandal.
Baruah interacted with party workers during the session and stressed the importance of organisational training in building a dedicated and disciplined cadre. He emphasised that such programmes help workers gain a better understanding of the party’s principles, structure and responsibilities while strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level.
The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026 is being conducted across Assam as part of the BJP’s organisational outreach, with training sessions being held at the mandal and district levels to equip party workers with ideological and organisational knowledge.
