A controversial video allegedly originating from Bangladesh has triggered strong reactions on social media after certain individuals were seen issuing provocative statements and threats against Indian political leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and West Bengal BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari.
According to claims circulating online, the speakers in the video warned of severe consequences if Muslims in India were “oppressed” and made inflammatory remarks targeting BJP leaders. The video also reportedly contained statements claiming that “capturing India would take only three hours,” drawing widespread criticism from several quarters.
The remarks surfaced amid ongoing political tensions in Assam and West Bengal, where the BJP currently remains in power. The video quickly went viral across social media platforms, with many users condemning the statements as provocative and dangerous.
Political observers believe the development may further intensify debates surrounding border security, illegal immigration, and communal harmony in the region. However, the authenticity of the video and the identities of the individuals involved have not yet been independently verified by authorities.
Security agencies are reportedly monitoring the circulation of the video and related online activity to prevent any escalation of tension. Meanwhile, several social media users and political supporters have demanded strict action against those making threatening statements.
Authorities from both India and Bangladesh are yet to issue any official statement regarding the matter.
