Assam Rifles Holds Medical Camp in Nagaland’s Washello Village, 62 Villagers Receive Healthcare Services

Nagaland: The Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Washello Village in Nagaland, providing healthcare services to 62 villagers, including 31 women, 12 men and 19 children.

During the camp, medical personnel conducted general health examinations, provided medical consultations and administered necessary treatment to the villagers. Blood investigations were also carried out for elderly residents as part of preventive healthcare efforts and to support the early identification of possible lifestyle-related health concerns.

The initiative highlights the Assam Rifles’ continued community outreach efforts in the Northeast, particularly in areas where access to healthcare services can be challenging. The medical camp focused on providing immediate healthcare support while also promoting preventive health awareness among local residents.
