Guwahati: Popular Bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh has been drawing attention during his ongoing visit to the Northeast, with his unexpected appearances at different locations in Assam creating excitement among fans and local residents.
On Thursday, November 5, the celebrated singer made a brief stop at Bokoliaghat in Karbi Anglong district while travelling towards Dimapur. During the halt, Singh interacted with police personnel deployed on duty along the road and exchanged a few words with them.
The singer also posed for photographs with police officers and fans, making the unexpected encounter a memorable experience for those present. His friendly interaction delighted locals who had the opportunity to meet the popular playback singer.
Earlier, on October 31, Singh made another surprise appearance at Subala Hotel and Restaurant near Simlaguri in Barpeta Road, where he stopped to enjoy a cup of tea. His unexpected visit created excitement among restaurant staff, visitors and nearby residents, many of whom were delighted to catch a glimpse of the singer.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Arijit Singh may also travel to Meghalaya as part of his Northeast visit. However, details regarding his proposed visit and travel itinerary have not yet been officially confirmed.
