Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Four More Arrested as Police Investigate Weapon Supply Network

New Delhi, October 21: Investigators are examining an alleged weapon supply network following the firing at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Mumbai on October 18. The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four additional suspects believed to have helped arrange and transport the firearm used in the incident.

The accused have been identified as Kunal (21), Sumit (19), Radha (23) and Babita (23). Kunal and Sumit are residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district, while Radha and Babita are from Uttar Pradesh. The four were arrested on October 20, and Mumbai Police subsequently secured permission to question them in custody. A court granted three days of transit remand to facilitate further investigation.

According to the police investigation, Kunal was allegedly in contact with Anil Pandit, a US-based individual suspected of links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Investigators allege that Kunal and Sumit arranged a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition from Amritsar. Communication between the suspects reportedly took place through an encrypted messaging application.

Police further allege that Radha and Babita travelled by train to Mumbai with the weapon, concealed in a bag, on October 15. After arriving the following day, they reportedly stayed at a hotel near Dadar railway station. Investigators suspect that a minor boy subsequently collected the bag before the shooting took place.

The firing occurred in the Juhu area on October 18, when three alleged assailants opened fire at Shroff’s vehicle. The actor escaped unharmed, while his driver and a passerby sustained injuries. Three suspected shooters were subsequently apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan.

Investigators are now examining the alleged roles of the four newly arrested suspects, the movement of the firearm and their communications with other individuals connected to the case. The probe is continuing to establish the full chain of events and determine the involvement of each accused.
