Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Father Breaks Down, Seeks Justice for Son

Pune, June 28: Emotions ran high in the ongoing investigation into the alleged murder of Ketan Vishal Agarwal, as his father, Vishal Agarwal, broke down while speaking to the media and made an emotional appeal for justice. The statement came as the Pune Rural Police continued their investigation, including a crime scene reconstruction at Lohagad Fort near Lonavala.

Fighting back tears, Vishal Agarwal said his 25-year-old son had done nothing wrong and that the family had been preparing for his wedding later this year. He said they had been looking forward to welcoming a daughter-in-law into the family, but instead suffered the devastating loss of their son.

Appealing to the authorities, Vishal Agarwal urged that those responsible for his son’s death be given the strictest punishment under the law. He also thanked members of the public who had extended support to the family and stood by them during the difficult period.

Expressing confidence in the investigation, Vishal Agarwal praised the efforts of Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, the Local Crime Branch (LCB), the Lonavala Police, and the Crime Branch, stating that he was satisfied with the manner in which the investigation was progressing. He said he had full faith in the legal system and hoped that justice would be delivered.

He also expressed gratitude to the media for consistently highlighting the case and helping bring attention to his son’s death, while thanking well-wishers who had supported the family in its pursuit of justice.

Meanwhile, Pune Rural Police continue to investigate the case from all possible angles. Officials recently carried out a detailed crime scene reconstruction at Lohagad Fort with the accused as part of the investigation. Police believe the reconstruction will help verify statements and other evidence collected during the probe. Further investigation is underway.
