Himanta Biswa Sarma Reviews Flood Relief Arrangements at Charaideo Camp, Assures Support to Affected Families

Charaideo, Assam | July 22: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday visited a flood relief camp in Charaideo to review the facilities provided to people displaced by the recent floods and interact with affected families.

During his visit, the Chief Minister assessed the arrangements at the relief camp and spoke with residents to understand their situation. He reviewed the availability of essential services and the measures being taken to support those staying at the camp.

Sharing an update after the visit, Sarma said that medical teams and all essential services are in place at the relief camp to ensure the well-being of flood-affected families.

The Chief Minister also assured residents that the Assam Government would continue to stand by them throughout the relief, rehabilitation and recovery process.

“Medical teams and all essential services are in place. I assured every family that we will stand by them through relief, rehabilitation and recovery,” Sarma said in a post shared on his official X account after visiting the camp.

The visit comes as the state government continues to monitor the flood situation and provide assistance to affected communities in different parts of Assam.
