Mumbai: Hanuman Ansh is set to expand its theatrical reach internationally on September 11, 2026, following a steady and successful run in Indian cinemas. The spiritual drama has reportedly crossed the Rs 61 crore mark in domestic net collections within four weeks of its release.
Produced by Hombale Films, the film will be taken to overseas audiences through Hombale Overseas. The production house announced the worldwide release on social media, describing the movie as a story rooted in faith and spirituality that is now ready to travel beyond Indian borders.
Hanuman Ansh opened in theatres in India on August 7 with a reported collection of around Rs 10 lakh on its first day. Although the opening was modest, the film gradually gained momentum. Its first-week earnings stood at approximately Rs 1.08 crore, while the second week added around Rs 40 lakh to its domestic total.
The film witnessed a substantial improvement during its third week, when positive word-of-mouth helped push its reported earnings to about Rs 10.40 crore. By the end of its fourth week, the movie had accumulated nearly Rs 61 crore in net domestic collections, according to the trade figures provided.
Directed and written by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh draws inspiration from the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, widely known among his followers as Maharaj Ji. Shobhinaw Satyaa portrays Neem Karoli Baba, while Vihaan Shedge appears as Maharaj Ji at another point in the story. Chandan Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil K. Rastogi and Gulshan Pandey are also part of the cast.
The film has a runtime of approximately two hours and 30 minutes and has received a U certificate.
Speaking about the movie’s response, director Vishal Chaturvedi highlighted the continuing public interest in Neem Karoli Baba. He said the spiritual leader’s strong following and the curiosity surrounding his life have played an important role in attracting audiences to the film.
With its domestic theatrical performance providing a strong foundation, Hanuman Ansh will now look to connect with viewers outside India. The film is scheduled for its worldwide release on September 11, 2026.
