Williamnagar: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated a new building for Williamnagar Government Higher Secondary School in East Garo Hills, providing improved infrastructure to support the educational needs of students and teachers.
The school, established in 2000 as the higher secondary section of Williamnagar College, was provincialised in 2009. The newly inaugurated facility is expected to address long-standing infrastructure limitations and create a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.
Speaking on the occasion, Sangma reiterated the Meghalaya government’s commitment to upgrading educational institutions and expanding access to quality education across the state. He emphasised that better school infrastructure would help create greater learning opportunities for future generations.
