With just a day remaining before its theatrical release, Ramayana: Part One has already generated considerable business at the Indian box office without a single regular opening-day screening. The much-anticipated mythological film, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, is approaching the ₹100 crore milestone in domestic advance bookings, indicating strong pre-release demand.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026. Its ticket sales have continued to grow across major cities, with the Hindi version accounting for the overwhelming majority of advance-booking revenue.
Ramayana Advance Booking Collection Approaches ₹100 Crore
According to box-office tracking website Sacnilk, Ramayana registered approximately ₹97.64 crore in advance bookings across India as of the morning of November 4.
The reported total includes tickets and seats blocked by cinemas. When blocked seats are excluded, the estimated advance-booking collection stands at ₹77.71 crore.
Around 25.88 lakh tickets were recorded across more than 83,700 shows in 901 cities, highlighting the scale of the film’s theatrical rollout.
Of the total advance business, approximately ₹39.42 crore is attributed to the opening day, November 5, including blocked seats.
With bookings continuing until the film reaches theatres, the domestic ₹100 crore advance-booking milestone remains within reach.
Hindi Version Accounts for Biggest Share of Ticket Sales
The Hindi version has emerged as the strongest contributor, recording approximately ₹79.84 crore in advance ticket sales.
The Telugu version has collected around ₹8.13 crore, followed by Kannada with ₹7.30 crore.
Tamil and Malayalam versions have generated approximately ₹1.88 crore and ₹49.35 lakh, respectively.
The advance-booking pattern suggests that Hindi-language screenings are driving the film’s initial commercial momentum, although regional-language versions are also contributing to its nationwide business.
Premium formats, including IMAX, 4DX and Dolby Cinema, have added to advance-booking revenue, reflecting demand for a large-screen viewing experience.
Delhi-NCR and Mumbai Deliver Strong Pre-Release Collections
Among the major urban markets, the National Capital Region has recorded the highest advance-booking revenue at approximately ₹13.59 crore.
Mumbai follows with ₹12.15 crore, while Bengaluru has contributed around ₹10 crore.
Hyderabad has generated approximately ₹5.95 crore, followed by Pune with ₹4.07 crore.
The response across these cities points to significant advance interest in the film, particularly among metropolitan cinema audiences.
However, the final commercial outcome will depend on ticket sales following release, audience reception and occupancy levels over the opening weekend.
Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi Bring Ramayana to the Big Screen
Ramayana: Part One features Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Ravie Dubey portrays Lakshman, while Sunny Deol plays Hanuman.
The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Monster Mind Creations.
The large-scale cinematic adaptation brings together visual effects, an ensemble cast and music by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
Following its Los Angeles premiere on October 27, the production is preparing for a worldwide theatrical release in multiple languages.
All Eyes on Ramayana’s Opening-Day Box Office Performance
The substantial advance-booking figures have placed Ramayana among the most closely watched theatrical releases of the season.
While the film’s estimated pre-release sales suggest considerable audience anticipation, advance bookings should not be confused with actual box-office earnings after release.
For now, attention remains on whether Ramayana can cross the ₹100 crore mark in domestic advance bookings before its opening and convert that early interest into a strong first-weekend performance.
Note: Advance-booking figures are estimates based on Sacnilk’s November 4, 2026, morning report and include blocked seats unless stated otherwise.
