In a proud and historic moment for the nation, the first all-women mountaineering expedition team of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police successfully scaled Mount Everest and unfurled the Indian Tricolour atop the world’s highest peak.

The landmark achievement was recorded on May 21, 2026, when the expedition team reached the 8,848-metre summit through the South Col route. According to reports, the first successful summit was achieved at 6:52 AM, marking the beginning of a historic feat for the force.
