CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Announces Return to India, Calls for Protest Seeking Education Minister’s Resignation

New Delhi, June 1: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of CJP, has announced that he will return to India on June 6 to participate in a peaceful protest demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over issues related to examination management and alleged irregularities affecting students.

In a video message shared on social media, Dipke said he plans to arrive in Delhi on June 6 and seek permission from authorities to hold a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar. He stated that the protest would be conducted in accordance with constitutional and democratic principles.

Dipke alleged that examination-related controversies, including concerns over paper leaks and administrative lapses, have adversely affected the futures of millions of students appearing for examinations such as NEET, CUET, CBSE board examinations and SSC GD recruitment tests. He argued that accountability should be fixed for what he described as major failures in the education system.

Referring to an online campaign, Dipke claimed that a petition demanding the Education Minister’s resignation has received significant public support. He also pointed to protests reportedly held in several cities, including Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur and parts of Maharashtra.

The CJP founder appealed to students, youth and supporters of the campaign to join the proposed demonstration peacefully. He said the group intends to approach the Parliament Street Police Station to seek official permission for the protest at Jantar Mantar.

Emphasizing his commitment to non-violent and democratic methods, Dipke said he draws inspiration from leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, B.R. Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh and Jawaharlal Nehru. He maintained that citizens have a constitutional right to raise their voices peacefully on issues of public concern.

The proposed protest is expected to focus on demands for greater accountability in the education sector and measures to address concerns raised by students regarding competitive and academic examinations.

There has been no immediate response from the Ministry of Education regarding the statements made by Dipke or the proposed protest.
