Alleged Attempt by Samarth Singh to Escape During Surrender Proceedings Sparks Chaos in Jabalpur Court

A dramatic scene reportedly unfolded inside the District and Sessions Court in Jabalpur after allegations surfaced that Samarth Singh attempted to flee during surrender proceedings, leading to chaos inside the courtroom premises.

According to statements made in a video circulating online, an individual claimed that he entered a courtroom in the Jabalpur District and Sessions Court after finding the door locked from inside. He alleged that the courtroom lights were switched off and that Samarth Singh was sitting inside wearing a mask while the judge was not present on the dais.

The individual further alleged that only three court staff members were present in the courtroom and questioned under what authority Samarth Singh had been allowed to remain there. He claimed that upon noticing his presence, Samarth Singh allegedly attempted to run away from the courtroom.

The video statement also alleged that lawyers accompanying Samarth Singh pushed and obstructed the individual while trying to prevent him from following Singh. According to the claims, Samarth Singh was then allegedly taken to a room associated with the Bar Association premises, where supporters and lawyers reportedly blocked access by shutting the door from inside.

The person making the allegations also stated that he was unaware whether police personnel had reached the spot at the time of the incident.

No official statement has yet been issued by the court authorities or the police regarding the alleged incident. The authenticity of the claims made in the video could not be independently verified at the time of reporting.

The incident has triggered discussions on courtroom security and legal protocol during surrender proceedings in high-profile cases.
