SONAPUR, Aug 28: Preparations underway at Zubeen Khetra were briefly disrupted on Thursday morning after a lightning strike brought down a large Nahor tree at the venue, leaving three women with minor injuries.
According to reports, the women were in the area when the lightning struck, causing the tree to collapse. The falling tree also damaged a poster and cutout of late singer Zubeen Garg, with the upper portion of the placard reportedly affected.
The incident also caused a temporary disruption in electricity supply at the venue. The development has raised concern as activities and preparations are continuing at Zubeen Khetra ahead of the singer’s first death anniversary.
