Guwahati: A stolen scooty has been recovered by Guwahati Police, with three persons arrested in connection with the case following an operation by a team of Panbazar Police Station.
According to Guwahati Police, the arrested individuals have been identified as Mandip Nath, Bastab Boro and Vickey Kr Gupta.
Police said the operation was carried out by a CGPD team from Panbazar Police Station. During the action, personnel recovered and seized the stolen scooty along with gold articles reportedly found in the possession of the accused.
The recovery of the vehicle and the gold articles came as part of the police action to crack the theft case, Guwahati Police said in its official communication.
Further legal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the matter.
